OUR STORY
After developing a custom bidding software solution for a construction industry client in 2006, JBKnowledge, saw the need for a web-based software product to help general contractors communicate and collaborate more effectively with subcontractors. Twelve years and tens of thousands of general contractors later, JBKnowledge decided to take an important step in the mission to transform the construction industry.
In 2018, SmartBid was acquired by the ConstructConnect family of companies, alongside other precon solutions like iSqFt, to enable its general contractor users to make the connections necessary to build and strengthen relationships, leverage project data and analytics to make better decisions, and use more effective software to deliver projects more profitably.

The ConstructConnect and SmartBid combination significantly expands our presence across the US and Canada and gives our customers the option to connect with the largest network of active subcontractors, giving them additional capacity and bid coverage to win more projects.
