We’re constantly coming up with ways to improve the SmartBidNet user experience, so we’ve made a few updates to make it even more efficient for our users. Read on to learn all about our latest features and improvements in May 2016!
Notes for ‘Not Invited’ Subs
Now you can add notes even for the subcontractor companies ‘Not Invited’ to a particular project under the Qualified > All Qualified tab. This will help youn note the reason for your decision not to invite a sub for other team members to see, or for easy reference later.
Help Text Improvements for Custom Fields
The help text on your custom fields and prequal questions is now editable at any time, so that you can customize your subcontractors’ experience and communications with you on demand. Updated text will not show in current/live forms, but will be available in any new prequals for use.
Input Negative BidTabs Numbers
General contractors and subcontractors can now enter negative numbers into fields in the BidTabs add-on module. This allows you to track positive and negative adjustments to quantities and monetary values and better understand discounts/credits, overages and savings in your budget.
Subcontractor Registration Improvements
A CAPTCHA field is now on the bottom of the subcontractor online registration form to prevent spammy submissions. If you don’t already sync this form to your corporate website, reach out to email@example.com to set it up! In addition, the email confirmation subs receive after submitting your registration form can now include your Internal Office logo.
Don’t worry, if you’re a general contractor users, the next time you log in to SmartBidNet, you’ll see notifications reminding you of these updates. Still have questions, comments, or even a suggestion? Just log in and visit our support page.
