We’ve made several updates and improvements to the Compliance add-on module this month. Read a brief overview of the updates below, and note that users can see more in depth walkthroughs on our support portal here. Don’t forget we’ll walk through these updates and answer any questions in our live weekly support webinar and Q&A session. Users can register for the next training webinar, here.
Not using the Compliance add-on module for managing subcontractor certificates, licenses and W-9s? Learn more about all modules here. We’d be happy to show you a demo. Contact your sales rep or submit the form here.
Integration with the Prequal Pro Add-On Module
We’ve developed a direct integration with our Prequal Pro add-on module that will copy all the files uploaded for the requested document types from SmartBidNet prequal form answers to the SmartCompliance Inbox.
A new feature was added on the Inbox tab to notify users when a Certificate of Insurance needs approval. When processing a Certificate of Insurance, on the certificate form, there is a checkbox that users can select when the uploaded document requires the review and approval of a qualified user.
Communications can be sent by GC users both from the dashboard and from the company record. Subcontractors receive communications with the upload documents link that redirects them to the subs’ interface, where they can upload documents directly from the “Company” section.
Reviewing Documents from the Inbox
From the Inbox, users are now able to assign a document to a company, project or both. Also, the system allows users to set companies as “In Compliance” from the Inbox by clicking on the check box that is displayed under Company or Project Info.
On the Companies tab within a project, the “View Uploads” link has been changed to read “Documents.” Under “Documents” there is a new structure that allows users to better view which documents are assigned to the company versus this project or other projects.
Removing Subcontractors from Projects
Subs now can be removed from the compliance requirements of a project by selecting them from the list and clicking the “Remove Selected” button or the “Remove from this Project” link.
